BUILDERS GIFT CARDS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.    Builders Gift Card
1.1.    Gift Card/Vouchers are issued at a Builders, a division of Massmart Retail (Pty) Ltd store located within the Republic of South Africa “Builders”.
1.2.    Gift Cards must be in store, unless agreed otherwise by Builder’s at its sole and absolute discretion and cannot be used for third party installation services.
1.3.    You can continue using this card by simply topping it up at any Builders store in South Africa. However, this Gift Card shall be valid for a period of 3 (three) years from date of issue or until the full balance has been utilized, whichever occurs first (“Validity Period”). 
1.4.    Gift Cards may only be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible goods and services provided by Builders. A Gift Card cannot be utilized to purchase another Builders Gift Card/voucher/ coupon.
1.5.    This Gift Card cannot be exchanged for cash. No cash balance will be given as change. Should you not utilise the full value of your Gift Card, a credit will remain on the card for your future use subject to the Validity Period. 
1.6.    No fees apply to Gift Cards. The Gift Card has no implied warranties and is not a debit or credit card and no interest shall accrue. If your Gift Card value is insufficient for the order you wish to place, you may make up the difference by paying via one of our other payment methods.
1.7.    We reserve the right to require additional verification of your identity, Gift Card or account ownership, or provision of an additional payment instrument, before you are able to apply a Gift Card to a purchase.
1.8.    Builders is not responsible for any lost or stolen cards. The risk of loss and title for Gift Cards pass to the purchaser upon payment of the Gift Card and you are responsible for safeguarding your Gift Card from unauthorized use. We are not responsible if any Gift Card is lost, stolen, or destroyed, or if your Gift Card is used without your permission. There are a variety of Gift Card scams that request payment by Gift Card and we kindly request that you remain vigilant. Builders is not responsible for, and assumes no liability to you for, any unlawful conduct or fraud by any third party associated with any Gift Card.
1.9.    The Gift Card may not be utilized for any illegal transaction whatsoever. By using a Gift Card you agree to comply with these terms and conditions, and not to use a Gift Card in any manner that is misleading, deceptive, unfair, or otherwise harmful to Builders, its affiliates, or its customers. We reserve the right, without notice to you, to void Gift Cards without a refund, suspend or terminate customer accounts, suspend or terminate the ability to use our services, cancel or limit orders, and bill alternative forms of payment if we suspect that a Gift Card is obtained, used, or applied to a Builders account and/or profile fraudulently, unlawfully, or otherwise in violation of these terms and conditions. 2.    Physical Gift Cards / Voucher:
2.1.    Please present this Gift Card at the store as payment towards your purchases. You may use this Gift Card to purchase merchandise at any Builders store in South Africa.
3.    Electronic Gift Card/ Voucher:
3.1.    Please present this Gift Card as payment towards your purchases whether in store or online at www.builders.co.bw.
3.2.    You may use this Gift Card to purchase merchandise at any Builders Store and/or at www.builders.co.bw.
